For the 2019 conference, 199 students made 251 presentations in 21 discipline fields and 48 students received cash awards.

The concerts featured the Women's Cantamus Choir, Male Chorus, Concordia Handbell Choir, University Brass Ensemble, University A Cappella Choir and University Symphonic Band.

Concordia University, Nebraska's 8th anuual Academic and Research Symposium saw 80 academic projects from a variety of disciplines presented by 111 students on Monday, April 16 in the Thom Leadership Education Center on Concordia's campus.

There were over 200 participants at ENMU's Mud Volleyball 2018 event on April 21, with 28 teams playing in the tournament. The event raised around $3,400 for student scholarships.

Through this process, students can see how their work compares with that of other students, get feedback on their work and presentations and practice their professional presentation skills. For the 2018 conference on April 4, 195 students submitted 238 entries covering work in 22 different academic fields. Work was presented in 34 groups and one presentation in each group was chosen as an award winner.

Concordia University, Nebraska's A Cappella choir will sing many musical hits in the return of their annual Broadway at the Boulders show at 7 p.m. on Friday, April 13.

315 students at Eastern New Mexico University were named to the Greyhound Connection honor roll for earning a 3.000-4.000 GPA for the fall 2017 semester. The Greyhound Connection is a program that prepares freshmen at ENMU for academic success by providing each student with a faculty or staff mentor and programming focused on excelling in a college environment. "I am delighted to recognize these 315 freshmen who excelled in the classroom during the fall semester," said ENMU President Dr. Jeff Elwell. "These students have clearly demonstrated that they can successfully handle college work and are well on their way to graduating in four years."

The University A Cappella Choir from Concordia University, Nebraska, will travel to Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas and Louisiana for its annual tour March 2 - 11. The choir will conclude the tour with two local-area concerts on Sunday, March 18 at 2 p.m. at St. Thomas Aquinas (Newman Center) in Lincoln and at 7 p.m. at St. John Lutheran Church in Seward.
